Trevor was born in Sydney Nova Scotia. Being a true Cape Bretoner, he has had music in his life since a very early age and it continues still.

Trevor is a veteran in the music industry with over 23 years of performing. His first stage appearance was at the age of 5 as a vocalist with three other band members. In 1978, Trevor was the vocalist winner, of his age group, at the Kinsmen Music Festival. Throughout high school Trevor has played in various bands and was always closely involved with music. He did this by hosting band nights, having talent shows, organizing teen dance nights and being the D.J. for them.

After high school, Trevor joined the band State of Mind. He played with them from 1989 – 1992, touring in Quebec and Ontario. The band went their separate ways and with Trevor still wanting to play music, Zero to Zero was born. They were a band that toured both in Canada and the United States.

In 1996, Trevor decided to join his brother and together they were the Cape Breton Barbarians. They played traditional Celtic and Celtic rock, bringing many hearts home along the way with the more traditional tunes. Being a member of the Cape Breton Barbarians since 1996 has allowed him to achieve greater guitar skills and challenged his vocal abilities as well as stamina for on the road touring across Canada. As a barbarian, Trevor has toured extensively from Coast to Coast with Alexander Keith’s and Labatts as their sponsors. In 13 months they played 230 shows and had the fantastic experience of meeting great people, many who are fans to this day.

In this past year Trevor decided it was time to move away from his all Celtic band and play a greater variety of all the music he loves. Hence, The East Coast Salty Boys were formed. Trevor still plays Celtic but has added to the song list, music by many great rock/folk artists and to complete the circle he plays many of their own original songs.

To this day Trevor loves to play his guitar and sing like it was the beginning of his career. He puts on a fantastic show and plays with all of his heart, soul and musical ability whether there are 4 people in the room or 4,000.
